    Wei Bin, Kai graduated from University of New South Wales in 2005 with First Class Honours. Since graduation, he has worked in Forum Architects Pte Ltd and was responsible for projects such as Faculty of Law building, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at National University of Singapore - Bukit Timah Campus, UBS Wealth Management Campus at Command House, a house in Bahrain, Maxwell Chambers at 32 Maxwell Road, a high rise office tower at 78 Shenton Way, Temasek Polytechnic Teaching facilities Block and the Yale-NUS College.

    In 2013, he started KAIA Architects with a passion to make well-crafted designs more accessible to the general public. He has a special interest in landscape and lighting, believing that good landscape and lighting design will enhance the architectural spaces, especially in tropical countries. 


    Mark received his Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Melbourne, Australia. Since his return to Singapore, he has worked on both of architectural and interior projects, ranging from conservation to commercial. Notably, in his time with Annex A Architects and Union Experience, Mark has worked on The Majestic Bar, Singapore Airlines' customer service lounge in Orchard Road and several conservation residences.

    A member of the Singapore Institute of Architects, Mark has served on the Sustainability Committee and is a contributor to the institute's policy paper on a sustainable built environment. Passionate about design education, Mark has taught part-time and conducted design workshops since 2008. He has taught design as an adjunct lecturer at the Singapore Polytechnic Design School as well as the Glasgow School of Art Singapore.

    Mark is deeply passionate about people, the way we live, and the environment we live in. He believes that design can and should make people’s lives better.
